Police issue Canada-wide warrant for manslaughter convict who fled halfway house A man convicted of a 2012 manslaughter who was moved to a halfway house last weekend to serve the remainder of his sentence has fled, Calgary police say.Vernon Pelletier, 24, of Calgary, was transported to the halfway house in the 400 block of 9 Ave. S.E.
